How to use Kling Motion Control in 3 steps

The short answer

Upload one character photo, add one 3–30 s motion video, pick a model and press Generate. The video is ready in 2–5 minutes. It runs in the browser, with no Kling app or account, and new accounts get 200 free credits.

Make my video

Step by step

  1. 1

    Upload one character photo

JPG, PNG or WEBP up to 10 MB. Use the same framing as your motion video: full body for dances, half body for talking or hand moves. Keep the face and hands unblocked.

  2. 2

    Add one motion video

An MP4 of 3 to 30 seconds, up to 50 MB, with one person in one continuous shot. Record it yourself or use a clip you have the right to use.

  3. 3

Pick a model and press Generate

Kling 3.0 Standard is the default. The Pro models render in 1080p; Kling 2.6 Standard costs the least. The video is ready in 2–5 minutes, and we email you when it is done.

Tips for a clean result

  • Use the same framing in the photo and the video: full body with full body, half body with half body.
  • Pick a clip with one person and no cuts or transitions.
  • Steady, moderate moves track better than spins and jumps.
  • Keep the head and hands visible in the photo, with nothing covering the face.

What it costs

You pay per second of motion video. A 10-second video costs 500 credits on Kling 2.6 Standard and 900 credits on Kling 3.0 Standard. If a video fails, its credits come back automatically.

Questions

Only if you have the right to use it, for example a clip you filmed yourself or one the creator allows. Download it as MP4, trim it to one continuous shot and upload it.

Yes. The job runs on our servers. The video is saved in My videos and we email you when it is ready.

Kling keeps only the part it can track, at least 3 seconds. Very fast moves or cuts cause this; use a steadier clip.
