What is Kling Motion Control?
The short answer
Kling Motion Control is a Kling AI feature that takes two inputs, one character photo and one video of a person moving, and makes a new video in which the character in the photo performs the same body moves and facial expressions. The output runs as long as the motion video.
What goes in and what comes out
| What it is | |
|---|---|
| Input 1 | One photo of the character: a person, a baby, a pet or a drawn character |
| Input 2 | One motion video, 3–30 s, of one person moving |
| Output | A video of the character doing the same moves, same length as the motion video |
| Optional | A text prompt for the background or camera |
Where it comes from
Kling AI is the video model made by Kuaishou. Motion Control arrived with Kling 2.6, which added two orientation modes: follow the motion video, or keep the pose from the photo and steer the camera with a prompt. Kling 3.0 keeps faces steadier through head turns and longer clips, and its Pro mode renders in 1080p.
The feature spread on TikTok through dance trends: parents turning baby photos into dancing videos, the Babydoll dance, the drunk dance template, and K-pop choreography redone with anime and pet characters.
Kling Motion Control models on this site
| Model | Output | Credits per second | 10 s video |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kling 3.0 Standard | 720p | 90 | 900 credits |
| Kling 3.0 Pro | 1080p | 120 | 1200 credits |
| Kling 2.6 Standard | 720p | 50 | 500 credits |
| Kling 2.6 Pro | 1080p | 80 | 800 credits |
What it cannot do
- It follows one person. With several people in the motion video, only the largest one is used.
- Very fast, spinning or heavily cut clips may be shortened to the part Kling can track, at least 3 seconds.
- The face looks like the photo, not a perfect copy. A sharp, front-facing photo gets closest.
- Photos of public figures and sexual content are refused by the photo check.
Do you need Kling to use it?
No. MotionControlAI is an independent web tool that runs the Kling Motion Control models for you. You sign in with Google or email, upload your two files in the browser and download the MP4. It is not made by, or affiliated with, Kling AI or Kuaishou.
